Improvement Engineer M/F

 

The Improvement Engineer is active in developing concepts to improve operating efficiency in the broadest sense. Activities focus on improving the multiple unit operations of the SPP plant which consists of 3 ABS trains, 1 SAN train and the Styrene supply infrastructure for the entire Terneuzen site. 

The eligible candidate will be part of the Terneuzen SPP manufacturing team reporting to the Production Leader.

The incumbent will be located on the Trinseo SPP building on the Dow Manufacturing site.

'- Gain detailed knowledge in the ABS manufacturing technology

- Determine efficiency gaps in the plant Raw Material and Energy use

- Trouble shoot and develop improvement ideas in the plant unit operations

- Support run-plant organization during offset situations and turnaround’s

- Being part of the plant on-call team

- Act as Project Manager / Manufacturing Representative for capital projects

- Responsible to stay within the Capex Budget allocated to the SPP plant

- Co-owner of the Terneuzen SPP Capex project plan

'- A minimum education level of Bachelor or Masters in Chemical Engineering.

- Fluency in English is required
